In three hours, the Pitch Bootcamp will help you refine your startup idea, improve your pitching skills, and recruit potential cofounders. Join us for a fun evening.
What is the Pitch Bootcamp?
The Pitch Bootcamp provides expert advice with real-world practice. The evening begins with talks by leading startup Founders designed to help you come up startup ideas, and refine your pitching skills. Then, you can pitch in front of both experts and your peers to receive constructive feedback. The evening format is based on the best practices of the Founder Institute, the largest idea-stage incubator in the world.
Who Should Attend?
- Anyone who has an idea or an early-stage company that wants to improve their pitch.
- Anyone that is interested in joining a new startup as a cofounder or early team member.
- Anyone interested in learning about the Founder Institute.

Who will be Speaking?
The Local Director of the Founder Institute, as well as some of the program's highest rated Mentors, will speak and provide feedback on company pitches. Confirmed speakers include:
- Brian Matthews, Founder of River City Internet Group and Investor/ Mentor at Capital Innovators - Brian Matthews is a Founder of River City Internet Group (www.rcig.net). River City Internet Group is an Internet holding company that focuses on software, Internet access, and hosting products. Brian is a serial entrepreneur having co-founded and assisted in the sale of the following technology companies: Primary Network to Mpower Communications (MPWR) in 2000, Primary Webworks to Perficient (PRFT) in 2001, CDM Fantasy Sports to Liberty Media (LCAPA) in 2006, and IntraISP to Clearwire Communications (CLWR) in 2007. Brian continues to focus on investments in early stage companies and sits on a number of boards of companies in the St. Louis area.
- Gabe Lozano, Co-Founder and CEO at LockerDome - Gabe is the co-founder and CEO of LockerDome, an angel-backed tech startup – a website that brings together youth athletes and teams from around the country. The same as Facebook has become our social identity and LinkedIn has become our professional identity, LockerDome is becoming an athlete’s sports identity. He also blogs at FundMyStartup.com.
